The Williamstown Planning
Commission meets on the second Wednesday of each month at Town Hall, unless
otherwise posted. The commission is currently working on the newest version
of the Town Plan.

What do you want Williamstown to be like in 5, 10 or even 20 years? On Feb.
3 at 7pm your Planning Commission will hold a public input session on the
new 5-year plan for Williamstown. This session will cover the subjects of
Housing, Natural and Cultural Resources, Education & Learning, Community
Facilities, Utilities and Services. You can get a copy of these sections
at the Town Clerk's office or download
the new plan (in
PDF format) from
this site.
Monthly Meeting
The commission meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm
in the Town Hall.

Town Plan Rewrite
The Planning Commission is now in the process of doing its every five (5)
year rewrite of the Town Plan. A plan is not a zoning document. A plan is
a statement of where Williamstown sees itself headed in the next 5-20 years.
During the next few months the commission will be holding community input
sessions on a variety of topics. The commission will complete the plan and
send it to the Selectboard by April 2010.

Town Plan
Our current Town Plan was adopted by the Selectboard at its first meeting
in July 2005. We are posting it here as both a Word Document and in
Adobe
Acrobat (.pdf) format. We have broken it into sections for easy downloading
by those of you with dial-up or slower connections.
