Selectboard Meeting

Stan Corneille opened the meeting at 6:03 p.m. to review the Personnel Policy. Garrett asked for an employee classified as a part time employee and works six consecutive months more than 24 and less than 40 hours for some kind of a benefit. Another request from employees was for a few of the sick days (12 days per year) to be changed to a few of them as personal days.

The Board reviewed the policy under Section 8 - EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION for a clearer definition of Full-time, Part-time and Temporary Employees. After a discussion the Board asked Garrett and Bob to work reviewing the policy and asking VLCT to review it and make suggestions for clarifications.

Larry brought to the Boards attention one of the time periods in the billing cycle schedule for taxes and water & sewer was too short. In the first water & sewer billing cycle under Send Bill By date was change to Nov 30. The Board agreed by consensus to the change.

Motion made by Rodney and second by Larry to end the Selectboard meeting at 6:50 pm.
