This Weeks Agenda Items:
- Community Project: John’s goal is to have one project a month. Ideas: Neighborhood Sale on 7/14, Holiday door decorating contest, antiques road show; just to name a few.
- Review Community Interest Survey: the commission gave Doreen some ideas of changes and additions to the survey. There should be a 5 year plan for the Planning Commission but will wait to see what the people are interested in using the returned surveys.

- Tour of the Old Landfill: Doreen, Stan, Art Stone and a few more residents visited the Old Landfill Site or Trail way and Scenic Bi-way and walked around with Doreen showing them the ideas that the Planning Commission had. The park is intended to be family oriented and especially a children’s area. Everyone was very enthused. There was also discussion as to the need to reinstate “Neighborhood Watch”. Possible contact with Jason Gould of Orange County Sheriff’s office or the Community Policing committee that Terry Knight is part of.
- Assess meeting time: The motion was made by John and seconded by Art to change the meeting time to 7:00 – 9:00 PM. If anyone needs to leave earlier, they can.
