Paige called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Art went over a list of ideas that the Planning Commission had talked about and also where things are located.
Paul Zeller is interested in serving on the Planning Commission and Rama was visiting. Introductions were made of the Planning Commission members.
Paige is willing to take over as the Chairperson with John as the Vice Chair. They will wait to vote this when Paul is officially on the Planning Commission.
The Commission wants to have communication with the Select Board on the Direction that they want the Planning Commission to go in on the writing of the Town Plan. As soon as Town Meeting is over with the two need to meet regularly to go over the progress and get input. Al suggested a town-wide meeting as well as a meeting inviting the Fire Dept., Ambulance Dept., Planning Commission and Selectboard. It was felt it should be first the Planning Commission and the Selectboard then maybe invite more input from others.
Paige felt that the Select Board had a positive response to the Planning Commission but needed to give more guidance. John felt there was no support from the outside.
The Commission went over a few ideas of changes that were needed in the Plan from Chris Walsh. The Commission will reconvene on January 21 to go over the suggestions that Chris gave them. Chris will be invited to the February meeting.
The minutes were approved and signed by consensus. There was no mail.
There was no further business and the meeting adjourned at 9.00 PM.
