PRESENT: Larry Hebert - Chair, Bill Ashe - Vice Chair, Rodney Graham, Francis Covey

TOWN MANAGER: Garrett Earls

VISITORS: Kathleen Lott - Northfield News, Dave Delcore-Times Argus, Mike Sprano, Ed Eaton-Fire Chief

At 7 p.m. L. Hebert called to order the June 13, 2011 Williamstown Selectboard special meeting.

SELECTBOARD SPECIAL MEETING

NEW BUSINESS:

1. TOWN MANAGER'S POSITION

Discussion was held concerning a search to fill the position of Town Manager. It was decided to form a committee to help review the applicants that apply. The following people will be asked to be on the committee:

Art Kramer, Health Officer

Horace Duke

Ivan LeBlanc

Larry Hebert, Select Board Chair

Rodney Graham, Selectmen

One of the 3 Listers

Garrett Earls, Town Manager

The ad will be advertised in the Times Argus, who will put it on Monster.com. Also, Northfield News, Randolph Harold, VLCT, ICMA and our website. The cutoff date is July 1rst.

At 7:40pm F. Covey made a motion to enter Executive session for a personnel discussion, B. Ashe second. Motion passed by voice vote 4-0.

B. Ashe made a motion to go adjourn Executive session at 8:30pm, F. Covey second. The motion passed by voice vote 4-0.

R. Graham made a motion to adjourn at 8:40pm, L. Hebert second. The motion passed by a voice vote 4-0.
